Join poets aboard tall ship Wavertree at the South Street Seaport Museum for an annual reading of poetry produced on ships around NY Harbor.
NYC Poets Afloat enters its seventh season! Each year, poets are stationed aboard ships around NY Harbor to write poetry on the water during National Poetry Month. Then, in May, they converge aboard tall ship Wavertree at the South Street Seaport Museum to share all that poetry. Come join in and listen along!
Poets Afloat 2026: Jerome Ellison Murphy, Annie Lou Martin, Michael Montlack, Sue Landers, Kyle Liang, Robin Percyz, and Cydni Thompson.
NYC Poets Afloat is coordinated by its founder, the poet Brad Vogel. More at @poetsafloat
